It seems that most evangelism training experiences out there tend to be non-relational, transactional, and confrontational. These systems have the feel that they do not have my friends, co-workers, community and fears in mind. They often leave us longing for an approach that would equip us to love our friends right into the kingdom of heaven. What we need is a learning experience that would adequately address our fears, inadequacies, and inhibitions related to evangelism through the power of God's love.
As part of this year's Mission Conference, we will be offering an interactive and practical evangelism workshop designed to help normal followers of Christ to pursue a life of freindship evangelism that actually bears fruit in the real world. This will be Friday evening (6:00 - 8:30 PM) and Saturday morning (8:30 AM - 12:00 PM), February 22-23 in Miller Hall. The seminar will be led by Ru Sen, and this is one of his favorite training topics. Cost is $15 which will cover dinner Friday and breakfast Saturday.
*Nursery and child care through 3rd grad will be available upon request.
