The Young Adults Ministry of FPC Jackson is a place for those in their twenties, whether single or married. The ministry exists to cultivate a healthy community under the Word of God. Through teaching ministries, community groups, and social events, we hope that this ministry helps bring young people into the church and gives them a safe place to grow in Christ and be a part of a life-giving community.

Programs

Our Sunday School class is specifically geared towards single and married 20-somethings around the Jackson area. Our hope is to have a safe place to come and meet new people and hear teaching that is Christ-centered, theologically informed, and intellectually challenging. FPC is a big church, and our Sunday School classes help get everyone plugged into the life of the church. We meet each week in Patterson Hall at 9:45 a.m.

Young Adult Small Groups focus on cultivating friendships and unpacking the practical applications of the gospel. They provide a great opportunity to interact with peers while discussing a gospel-based book. Especially if you are new to Jackson, this is a great way to get connected and cultivate friendships. Small groups consist of 12-15 people who get together for the express purpose of prayer, Bible study, and fellowship. Many of these groups live life together in Jackson and regularly grab lunch together, play ultimate Frisbee, or catch a movie. Join a small group by contacting our Minister of Young Adults.
