Church Life

2020 Global Mission Conference

Our annual Mission Conference is designed to showcase the work of our missionaries, generate prayer and financial support for them, and to encourage all who attend to earnestly consider missionary service themselves.

The week concludes with the Mission Pledge commitment, which gives us an opportunity to respond to the ministry of the Word and the reports of our missionaries by pledging to pray and give in support of First Presbyterian Church’s efforts for Christ’s kingdom at home and around the world.

Keynote Speaker – J. Mack Stiles

Mack is the pastor of Erbil International Baptist Church in northern Iraq.  The church has about twenty different nationalities that “are loving each other across boundaries.”  Mack is the author of several books including “Marks of the Messenger” and “Evangelism: How the Whole Church Speaks of Jesus.”

Mack and his wife Leeann have been married for 41 years, living the past 20 years in the Middle East.  They have three grown sons, two wonderful daughters-in-law, and three grandchildren.
