About: Wiley Lowry

Minister of Teaching & Pastoral Care

Wiley was born in Jackson, where he was raised in a Christian home and nurtured under the ministry of First Presbyterian Church. One of his earliest memories is placing his faith in Christ Jesus as He is offered in the gospel. He attended the University of Mississippi, and in 2002, after graduation, married Molly and moved to Memphis, Tennessee. While in Memphis, he worked for several years in the financial industry before transitioning to work for a ministry serving immigrants and refugees living in the city. In 2009, Wiley returned to Jackson to study at Reformed Theological Seminary. While in seminary, he served as the pastoral care intern under Brister Ware at First Presbyterian Church, and after graduation was called to be the Minister of Pastoral Care. In 2022, he became the Minister of Teaching and Pastoral Care. He considers it a privilege and a joy to serve among this congregation. Wiley and Molly have three children: Barnes, Henry, and Caroline.
